In the open source professional audio realm, we often find ourselves wanting to use some of the cool tools that the rest of the world uses. While this is true more in pop music than in classical, some of the processings plugins are also helpful in mixing acoustic music. Such is the case with mid/side EQ.
In the following video, I demonstrate how to combine existing open source plugins to accomplish mid/side EQ on a recording of a chamber orchestra captured with a spaced pair of omni mics.
